London Street art Tours

A London street art tour will show you that London is awash with street art in all of its forms and here at London street art tours and Graffiti tours, we aim to show the very best of what the capital has to offer. Graffiti is an art form in its own right and should be experienced by all. Other terms used are ‘Urban art’ or ‘Guerrilla art’ to describe what is more commonly referred to now as street art these days.

Street art is very colourful and more often than not, it is pleasing on the eye and brightens up the area in which it is located. These hidden masterpieces can be found adorning walls, doors and even the pavements in and around London with its epicentre in Shoreditch..

Probably the most famous of the street artist is ‘Banksy’ known to be a political activist as well as a painter and film director  but there are of course many others including ‘Belgium’s ‘Roa’ and the French ‘Invader’ known for his images made from blocks as in the original Space invaders computer game

Others include ‘Ben Eine’ famed for his alphabet  lettering on shop window shutters, ‘Paul Don Smith’ and of course Charles Uzzell Edwards known as ‘Pure Evil’, a ‘Banksy’ stable mate.

Puppet Grids Infinity, Green Flowers art Gallery

PUPPET-SOLOSHOW-GreenFlowersArtGallery-01

Green Flowers Art Gallery is delighted to present new paintings by
the renowned international graffiti artist Mr.PUPPET (1970)
Directly from the forests of sweden.
“For more then a decade  he implanted the grids with his early 80s graffiti writing days with the complexity of living in the Now. Its a trademark for his work.”
“Puppet simply avoid to to reflect back to the geometry of the built environment and letting the Grids be just a decorative effect slaved under the ruler. Its such a minor and secondary role for him. He try to put it in a wider perspective, with colors in layers to move towards your inner thoughts presents a sense of possibility, randomness and the infinite. He takes the grids from constraint to a liberation to make you walk away with a sense rather then just a picture… “
