Steam156 is the legendary graffiti and street art documenter with over 30 years experience of documenting graffiti art around the world. He is also the author of the highly rated books "100 UK Graffiti Artists" "100 European Graffiti artists" and "Street art London".

Steam156 began his graffiti career way back in 1984, following the traditional route of initially illegal graffiti then he then went on to produce legal murals and do commission work for various companies and television shows. He has featured in magazines such as Time Out, Face, ID, Sunday Times, Best and many more. He is a sought after commentator on graffiti culture, penning articles for magazines like Hip Hop Connection, Knowledge and Graphotism. He has documented graffiti art around the world in places such as New York, Paris, Germany, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Thailand and Spain and he has personal memories of meeting most of the great legends from graffiti history.

Back in the 1980's Steam156 was involved in graffiti himself and since then has secured his reputation as an expert in writing culture and has appeared on a number of TV shows and media publications

London Graffiti Tours
We offer a range of tours to make sure that whatever type of street art you want to see there will be something to suit you and your needs. We promise to show you the very best street art around the beautiful streets of London. As we show you everything there is to see you'll also get an education too with loads to learn about all of the different street art that the capital city has to offer too! On The Tour
Your guide will explain the various forms of street art from stencils, wheat pastes, street sculpture, stickers and then of course the traditional forms of graffiti from letters to characters. The area covered by the tour changes all the time as new street art is installed daily, so there are always surprises en route. There is fun to be had on the tour depending how many people are on the tour and what tour you are on we play hunt the mushroom, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the chance to win one of our great DVDs. We offer you a relaxed, non rushed tour and make sure you get to see the very best, so make sure you have your camera ready and are prepared for a thorough street art education. The tours are conducted in small or large groups so you will have a chance to talk with your guide and ask any questions you might have.
