Welcome to London Graffiti Tours

A London street art tour will show you that our capitals streets are awash with impressive graffiti in all of its forms, we aim to show you the very best of what the capital has to offer. Graffiti is an art form in its own right and should be experienced by all. Other terms used are Urban art or Guerrilla art to describe what is more commonly referred to now as street art these days.

Street art is very colourful and more often than not, it is pleasing on the eye and brightens up the area in which it is located. These hidden masterpieces can be found adorning walls, doors and even the pavements in and around London with its epicentre in Shoreditch.

Probably the most famous of the street artist is Banksy known to be a political activist as well as a painter and film director but there are of course many others including the Belgian Roa and the French Invader known for his images made from blocks as in the original Space Invaders computer game

Others include Ben Eine famed for his alphabet lettering on shop window shutters, Paul Don Smith and of course Charles Uzzell Edwards known as Pure Evil, a Banksy stable mate.

Shoreditch Street Art

One of our personal favourites is the Shoreditch tour. Here at London Street Art and Graffiti Tours we aim to provide the perfect, expertly lead experience and show you the very best of Shoreditch has to offer. You will learn about the artists and the culture as well as the locations and the reasons behind Shoreditch being the world's foremost location for graffiti enthusiats.

Walking Tour

A walking tour allows you to enjoy at close hand the skill of the artist. You will see things that are not possible to see when driving past in your car or on the bus.

/93Wonderful start to our day!/94
Frank was a great commentator and made everything so interesting. We spent a wonderful morning viewing so much that we would otherwise have walked past without noticing. Frank is very knowledgeable and certainly opened our eyes to many different types and styles of art. I would recommend this to anyone, young or old.....

/93Great experience on UK Graffiti Tour/94
Frank led our tour of some of the great street art in Shoreditch. He was a wonderful commentator, interspersing his descriptions of the local art with personal accounts and good stories. He was knowledgeable about the artists and the most current work that was appearing. Frank also turned us on to a village in Belgium that was a haven for street art - a village we subsequently spend 4 hours exploring and photographing. The tour was well paced and the group size was perfect. Thanks Frank! It was a highlight of the trip....

How do you entertain 5 kids whose ages range from 16 to 8....This was a birthday outing for our 15 year old and his four siblings....and boy did it enthral, entertain and excite! Steam 156 was unbelievable. His knowledge of his specialist subject - Graffiti and Street Art - was exemplary and totally absorbing. I cannot believe all 5 kids walked the streets of London for 3 hours and then begged for more! Thank you Frank / you were fantastic. You opened 5 pairs of eyes and inspired 5 children (and let's not forget the positive impact on the 2 adults!) - each now wanting to make their own mark in the World. If you do one thing when you are in London...then do it with Steam 156 / Street Art Tours / 10/10!!
